We personally supervises raw material purchases and physically inspects each batch at the time of unloading at our Siddhpur, Gujarat factory Hirenkumar & Bros.
The raw material then undergoes pre-cleaning, followed by traditional oil-based dehusking, splitting, sun drying, colour sorting, and final packing.
Each stage is handled with precision and care to achieve the finest texture, purity, and cooking results.
Our Desi Cow Urid Dal and Urid Gota are processed using traditional Amery Stones during the dehusking stage — the same time-tested method followed for generations in our Siddhpur mills.
This traditional process removes the husk gently through natural friction.
As a result of this natural process, a fine white powder is seen on the dal & gota.
This is not stone powder or any external additive — it is simply the natural powder of urid dal itself, formed during emery stone friction.
